1. NEW ITINERARIES, NEW EXPERIENCE
1.1. Visiting Me Cung (Maze) Cave
Vietnam and particularly Ha Long Bay have popularly been more and more well-known with travelers, and the number of tourists has significantly grown in the recent years. What struck us was that, most of itineraries of hundreds of cruises were similar which leading to the overcrowding at the sights of the Bay. One of those sights strongly complained about the crowded and jostling situation is the Surprising Cave. Listening to the wishes of customers, Gray Line Cruise decided to replace it by Maze Cave which is rare with cave-lake seascape in Ha Long Bay from 2014, November on.
Maze Cave has a very complex structure, including many compartments under the stone roof with a 100 meter long corridor and then gradually to the west overlooking a small lake as the name of Maze. The lake is surrounded by the natural stone walls, seemingly isolated on the bay. According to scientists, the Maze cave is a geological-ecological zone with values for scientific research. To nature, this is also a very vivid seascape of this area. Definitely, Gray Line’s guest will have tranquil moments for taking beautiful pictures from high above.

1.2. Halong Floating Cultural Conservation Project – Gray Line only
As a matter of fact, 300 families living on the Halong Bay for thousands of years were officially moved to mainland by Quang Ninh People's Committee in June 2014 in order to improve the quality of living and developing of women and children. To be confronted with disappearing of floating houses, Halong Floating Cultural Conservation Project has been done by Gray Line together with supporting of several locals to introduce the rest of this culture on Halong Bay to foreign tourists.
About an hour for exploring the life of fishermen whose faces are sunburned because of their hard living and naïve children, Gray Line’s customers could understand more about the culture, fish farm and aquaculture of locals. Tasting rice vodka, Vietnamese tea, roasted peanuts and… listening real loving stories are truly unique experience for those traveling with Gray Line Halong Cruise ONLY.
1.3. Kayak in the Dark & Light Cave area
Dark & Light Cave belongs to the poetic Lan Ha Bay which is located in Cat Ba national park. This beautiful site is indeed ideal for tourists to explore some underground caves by kayaking and melt their souls into nature. What highlights? None of cruises has taken tourists to Dark & Light Cave yet in the itinerary of Halong 2 days, 1 night as it geographically takes much more effort to there. Since 2014 November, Gray Line, a pioneer has started adding this destination into the 2-day 1-night tour program in order to enrich tourist’s experience with kayaking activity. This is honestly another Gray Line Cruise’s highlight.
1.4. Visiting Viet Hai village - a mountainous cultural activity
In the itinerary of Halong 3 days 2 nights, Gray Line sightseeing boat will be anchored at Viet Hai pier in the second day. Tourists take a chance to discover Viet Hai village by biking. It is about 4km stretch of road, the small village is deep in a valley, surrounded by evergreen forests, beautiful scenery with rice paddies, buffalo ... comes into view!
We will take tourists to an ancient house built with bamboo and straw - one of the cultural structures of Vietnam remaining until nowadays. Cooking Vietnamese rice wine, breeding poultry and cattle... are typical activities that tourists will take part in to know more about the daily life of locals. This is one of the most outstanding programs of Gray Line in Ha Long Bay officially started from 1st November 2014.
2. OFFERING FREE ONE BOTTLE OF WINE FOR SUITE CABINS
Gray Line suite cabins are the most characteristic highlight of our accommodation service. They are smartly designed with sea-view windows for a panoramic view of the Bay with two sides facing the sea, a spacious bathroom together with a window and a comfortable private terrace which harmoniously bring nature into the cabin.
